   Sherwood Forest is centrally located between Sanford, Fayetteville and Southern Pines/Pinehurst.  There are many golf courses within a short distance.  Southern Pines and Pinehurst have interesting shops, clothing boutiques, excellent restaurants and are wonderful walking towns.   The famous antique shops in the town of Cameron are just 8 minutes up the road and the very popular Dewberry's Deli and Restaurant is right in the center of Town.  You will be charmed by this little country town that has become so well known.  The annual antique fair is held in the streets and draws a large crowd for that special weekend.  The Woodlake Country Club and Golf Course is just 7 miles from home.   It ranks high among the local courses.  The Club also serves a wonderful Sunday brunch.

   Sherwood Forest is a beautifully wooded country setting with shopping areas and amenities a short distance away.  A new local shopping center, just a 5 minute drive, provides a supermarket, video center, Subway and a Pizza Parlor.  A real bonus is the Douglas General Store, Gas Station and Restaurant...it is a 10 minute walk from our front door.  It is truly, in the old fashioned sense of the word, a Country Store with real Southern Hospitality and Friendliness.  Sherwood is 3.5 miles from other subdivisions, but is light years beyond in quality and lifestyle.  Day to day living is a dream come true...the magic of the forest really does become part of everyday life.
